WWE Releases NXT 20 Soundtrack On Streaming Platforms

WWE heavily hyped the release of the “As Close As It Gets” soundtrack for NXT 2.0 last night. The colorful brand even welcomed OllieJayy for a live performance, complete with the sounds of a sold-out stadium crowd in a building with a capacity of about 300 fans. WWE has now released “As Close as It Gets” on major streaming services including Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube.

The record was put together by WWE music arm Def Rebel. The release has three different songs. There are three different mixes of OllieJayy’s “Make Em Fall” included. That is the song OllieJayy performed on last night’s NXT.

The album has a runtime of ten minutes. Members of the WWE Universe who enjoyed OllieJayy’s song will be able to listen to it for free in multiple forms. Other songs include “Shooting Star” and “Out the Way.”

The release continues the trend of WWE trying to target a more youthful audience with the NXT 2.0 brand. OllieJayy is hoping the new single is her big break. WWE is banking on getting some crossover from music fans.
