Steel Cage Match Announced For WWE RAW Next Week

Tonight’s RAW emanated from XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. The show involved plenty of segments and in-ring action. WWE extended several storylines during tonight’s show and next week will see a classic gimmick match’s return.

MVP and Omos worked a VIP Lounge segment on RAW tonight. MVP bragged about Omos’ victory against Bobby Lashley last night at WrestleMania Backlash. An irate Lashley rushed to the ring to attack Omos, MVP and Cedric Alexander.

After destroying Cedric Alexander with the hurt lock, Lashley challenged the Nigerian giant Omos to a steel cage match next week on RAW. Lashley issued the challenge backstage.

WWE announced that Lashley will take on Omos inside a steel cage next week on RAW. The two are currently 1-1 against each other. Lashley won the first match at WrestleMania 38. This match was booked shortly after that, and it remains the only thing booked, so far, for next week.
