Jinder Mahals WWE Status After Being Assigned Manager Role

Jinder Mahal received mixed responses since his debut in the company back in 2011. He won the WWE Championship in 2017 and many fans continue to hate that reign even today. Lately, he has been a manager for Indus Sher on RAW but it appears that Mahal is still expected to wrestle despite his managerial role.

Jinder Mahal made his return to WWE television earlier this year when he came back to NXT and aligned himself with Indus Sher. While it was believed their partnership would be a temporary one, that was not the case.

Jinder Mahal was drafted to Monday Night RAW as part of the supplementary Draft this year. Since then, the Modern Day Maharaja has been acting as a manager for Indus Sher once again and has yet to compete in the ring.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, on top of being Indus Sher’s mouthpiece, Jinder Mahal is also expected to wrestle once again. That said, WWE’s main plans for the group are only tag team related.

Indus Sher was dominant on last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, as they defeated a couple of local talents. It remains to be seen when Jinder Mahal will finally get to wrestle again.
