Former WWE Star Dolph Ziggler Confirmed for NJPW Debut Match
Former WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler, now wrestling under his real name Nic Nemeth, made unexpected appearance at Wrestle Kingdom 18 created a buzz among wrestling fans. His altercation with David Finlay already sowed seeds for a match and now his NJPW debut bout has been made official.
During Wrestle Kingdom 18, Nic Nemeth got physical with IWGP Global Champion David Finlay and then addressed the same during an interview following the conclusion of NJPW’s major event. It was more or less confirmed that the former WWE Superstar would be going after Finlay for his title.
NJPW has now officially announced that Nic Nemeth will be doing battle with David Finlay for the IWGP Global Championship at NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo night one, which will take place on February 23rd.
This will mark Nic Nemeth’s first NJPW match in his career and the anticipation for the match is palpable, to say the least. It remains to be seen who will end up winning the match, as fans want Nemeth to be a success overseas.
