Adam Cole wasted no time in becoming one of the mainstays of AEW television after debuting in the company. He had a solid match at AEW All In and it appears his ring gear paid tribute to an infamous video villain.
In the main event of AEW All In, MJF defended the AEW World Championship against Adam Cole in a match that will go down in history as one of the best in a very long time. Full of high-octane action and drama, it saw MJF pick up the win after a long battle.
Adam Cole took to Twitter and uploaded a couple of photos of his ring gear, revealing that his gear paid tribute to Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2.
On the biggest night of my career in front of 81k people at #AEWAllIn, I had to pay tribute to the greatest Video Game villain of all time. The “God Damn Hero.” #HandsomeJack @Borderlands
MJF and Adam Cole are still the ROH Tag Team Champions after winning the titles during AEW All In Zero Hour, so it will be interesting to see how they will fare as the champions in the coming weeks.
